Autocom Pro-7-Sport intercommunication and sound system

After some bad experiences with cheap but low quality intercommunication systems, in 2001 I decided to buy the first Autocom sound system for my bike, the Pro-M1 model.

The equipment was expensive but I got an enormous quality improvement. Now I was able to talk with my wife and hearing music at speeds around 180 km/h (about 110 mph) without any problems, with the windshield in upper position and the helmet’s visors closed.

When I bought my new FJR 1300/A, I decided to exchange the previous Pro-M1 for the new Autocom Pro-7-Sport system, which is much better than the previous one. Thanks to its new 7 pin headset leads it has a better sound quality and a higher volume. With this new system I’m able to talk with my wife and hear music up to 200 to 220 km/h (125 to 135 mph).

Although it may be used as a portable system, powered by a 9 volt battery, I preferred to have it bike powered. The installation is very simple and fast.
