My Garmin Street Pilot 2610 GPS Installation

After getting lost too many times during my last Norway trip, specially when entering and riding on large cities, I decided not to travel in Europe again without a GPS.

Because of that and after many researches and analyses on the various GPS equipments available in the market, I decided to buy the brand new Garmin Street Pilot 2610 GPS, which is a new version of the good old Street Pilot III.

To install the GPS in my FJR I bought a Garmin motorcycle cradle kit with audio and bare wire cable, at GPSCity, and a Techmount stem mount specific for the FJR.

To connect the GPS to my bike's sound system I also bought an Autocom (Part. 172) audio cable as well as a Touratech sunshade, specially designed for the new Street Pilot 2610 - Touratech ref. 065-0405.
