Km 254

Gallura is the north est area of Sardegna. This region has a lot of mountains that means a lot of nice roads!

 

You have to stop in Costa Paradiso (where you can reach a nice beach with  5 a min walk with a step starting from the little harbour of the residence. You also have to stop in Isola Rossa where there's a nice beach called "Marinedda" turning  left just before the town (you can see it from above coming down the hill).

Don't miss Castelsardo (the best view of the town is visible from the see) and the "Elefante", a famous rock with an elephant shape, just on the road to Sedini (the road seems to be closed, there are few signal, but it is possible to drive throug, you'll find a beautiful view). Near perfugas you'll find some petrified trees, than following the road from Viddalba to Aggius, a valley called "Valle della luna" (Moon valley). 

Near Arzachena you'll find some paleolitic stones called "Tombe dei giganti" (Giant's grave).
